Just Because... I thought of it

I am fascinated in peoples' personal fantasy worlds. The stories of Tove Jansson (The Moomins), Michael Ende (The Neverending Story) and Roald Dahl (The BFG, etc) all touch on reality but are omehow disinterested in it. The characters lack the limitations of reality and yet still face the same worries, joys and curiousities. The live in the unpredictable and at the same time calm worlds built from pure imagination.

Using the medium of illustration an comics, I explore my own imaginary worlds as well as the characters that inhabit them. My style is loose and intuitive, following subconscious thoughts, as well as working within limited colour pallets.
